[남상훈 기자 = 횡성군] 지난 24일 횡성군이 ‘2022년 적극행정 우수사례 경진대회’에서 군이 제출한 사례인 '입장권을 상품권으로 돌려주니 경기선순환'이 우수상인 행안부장관상과 특별교부세 1500만원을 받았다고 밝혔다.

이번 대회는 중앙행정기관, 지방자치단체, 공공기관, 지방공사‧공단으로부터 적극행정분야 제출 사례에 대해 서면 온라인 심사의 1차 심사와, 전문가와 국민심사인 2차 심사를 통해 순위가 결정됐다.

횡성군이 제출한 사례는 '평범한 관광지는 NO!, 입장권을 상품권으로 돌려주니 경기선순환' 이란 주제로, 관광객이 지역경제에 도움이 되지 않고 환경 훼손만 발생시킨다는 주민들의 불만과 관광지 유료화 시 내방객 감소로 지역경기에 미칠 부정적 영향을 우려해 관광지 입장료 징수 및 지역의 관광상품권으로 환급한다는 내용이다.

입장권을 상품권으로 재사용하여 지역 상권에 기여할 뿐만 아니라 입장객들의 불만을 해소하였고, 지류화폐의 별도 발급이 없어 예산절감의 효과도 거두었다. 

김명기 횡성군수는 “적극행정이 공직사회에 새로운 문화로 자리매김 할 수 있도록 우수사례를 지속적으로 발굴해 군민이 체감할 수 있는 성과를 낼 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 전했다.
