[김준호 기자=삼척시] 박상수 시장은 신년사를 통해 “2023년은 희망과 행복의 빛을 온전히 되찾는 가슴 벅찬 여정이 될 것이라며, 시민과 함께 힘차게 다시 뛰겠다.”고 말했다.

민선 8기 삼척시정의 사실상 원년인 2023년은 새로운 시정비전 아래 침체된 지역경제 회복을 약속하며, 최우선 과제로 ▶수소에너지 분야 전문인력 양성과 청년 일자리 창출 등으로 미래성장 지도 완성, ▶삼척 관광문화재단 설립을 통한 역사문화도시 및 오감만족 관광도시 조성, ▶진로진학 지원센터 설립 등을 통한 감동 가득 교육․복지 도시조성, ▶영월~삼척간 동서6축 고속도로와 삼척~강릉간 고속전철화 사업으로 살고 싶은 정주도시 건설을 제시했다.

아울러 시장과 함께하는 ‘동네 한바퀴’, ‘열린 민원상담실’을 통한 열린 행정 구현 등에 역점을 두겠다고 밝혔다.
