[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동해시 전역의 경관형성 관리를 위한 경관계획 재정비 수립 용역이 최근 완료됐다고 밝혔다.

최근 지휘부 및 관련부서장, 용역사 등이 참석한 가운데 열린 용역 최종보고회에서는 지난해 8월 중간보고회 및 동해시 경관위원회 개최시 제시되었던 의견과 심의 결과를 반영하여 수립된 경관계획 재정비안을 용역사로부터 청취하고 질의응답 및 토론 시간을 가졌다.

이번에 수립된 경관계획 재정비안은 기존 계획에 대한 재정비를 통해 경관자원의 보전·관리 및 형성을 위한 장기적인 경관정책과 실효성 있는 관리방안이 포함됐다.

지난 2021년을 기준으로 2030년을 목표로 하고 있는 재정비안은 동해시의 대표 자연경관과 인문경관, 상징경관요소, 경관의식 조사결과를 통하여 도시경관의 특성을 도출하는 한편, 2030 동해 도시기본 계획과 동해비전 2040과의 정합성을 유지하는 동시에 시의 종합적인 경관 비전을 제시하고 있다.

시의 경관특성에 따라 제시된 경관기본구상안은 청정레저권역과 생활환경권역, 산업생활권역, 내륙관광권역의‘경관권역’과 해안하천축, 산림녹지 및 도로경관축의 ‘경관축’, 역사문화 및 자연경관거점, 상징경관거점 등의 ‘경관거점’으로 분류했다.
