[남상훈 기자 = 가평군] 이번달부터 오는 2023년 2월까지 3개월간 가평소방서는 심폐소생술 교육장을 운영하며 응급처치 교육을 실시한다고  밝혔다.

심폐소생술 교육장은 이태원 핼러윈데이 행사장 압사 사고를 계기로 도민의 심폐소생술 등 응급처치 교육에 대한 관심 및 수요가 증가함에 따라 도민 모두가 기본 응급처치가 가능한 안전한 사회를 구현하기 위하여 운영된다.

교육은 가평소방서 대강당에서 실시되며 주요 교육 내용으로는 -심폐소생술 이론교육 및 실습, -자동심장충격기(AED)사용법 교육 및 실습, -119신고 요령 등으로 응급처치에 대한 내용으로 구성된다. 심폐소생술 교육장은 이번달부터 오는 2023년 2월까지 3개월간 한시적이며 매주 목요일 오후 2시부터 4시까지 1시간씩 1일 2회 운영된다. 

배영환 가평소방서장은 “심정지 사고는 언제, 어디서 발생할지 아무도 모른다. 이번 교육장 운영을 통해 많은 국민들이 심폐소생술 교육을 받고 가족, 이웃들의 구급대원이 되어주길 바란다.”고 전했다.
