[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 박형덕 동두천시장은 배우자 하미순 여사와 함께 지난 27일, 동두천시노인복지관을 이용하시는 어르신들을 대상으로 점심 배식 봉사를 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이날 박형덕 시장 부부는 노인복지관을 이용하는 350여 명의 어르신 한 분, 한 분께 직접 국과 반찬을 배식하며 훈훈한 정을 나누는 시간을 가졌다. 

박형덕 동두천시장은 “‘동두천을 새롭게, 시민을 힘나게’라는 시정 구호처럼 새롭게 거듭나는 동두천에서 더욱더 힘나고 행복한 어르신들의 삶이 되도록 힘쓰겠다. 더운 날씨에 건강에 유의하시기 바란다”라고 당부 인사를 전했다.
