동두천시 조정대상지역 해제, 수도권광역급행철도(GTX-C노선) 동두천 연장, 동두천 국가산업단지 2단계(30만평 확대) 사업 추진 지원, 광역교통망과 연계한 남북고속도로 건설(서울-동두천-연천), 청년 및 신혼부부를 위한 통합공공임대주택 건립 등 동두천시가 조속히 추진해야 할 민생 현안사업을 건의했다. 

동두천시는 시 전체면적의 42%를 미군공여지로 제공했으나, 주둔 미군 감소와 코로나19로 인한 경기침체로 막대한 지역경제 피해를 입고 있어 시민들의 어려움이 가중되고 있다.
