최수연 시의원은 안기영 후보를 폭행혐의로 경찰에 신고했고, 경찰 입회하에 폭행장면이 담긴 CCTV를 확인해 경찰이 증거를 확보해 갔다고 밝혔다.

 

더불어민주당 정성호 후보 선거대책위원회(이하 ‘선대위’)는 선거운동원 폭행에 대해 안기영 후보에 공개사죄와 후보직 사퇴를 요구하면서 규탄성명서를 발표했다.

오늘 아침 안기영 국민의힘 국회의원 후보가 덕계역에서 선거운동을 하고 있던 최수연 양주시의원을 폭행하는 일이 벌어졌다. 폭행은 어떤 상황에도 용납될 수 없는 심각한 범죄이며, 선거 기간 중 선거운동원에 대한 폭행은 선거의 자유를 방해하는 중대 범죄이다.
