[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시시립도서관은 8월부터 365일 이용가능한 스마트도서관과 시립·산소드림도서관 무인예약대출기 대출 권수를 기존 2권에서 5권으로 확대했다고 밝혔다.

태백시청 경차 주자창에 위치한 스마트도서관은 운영시간에 구애받지 않고 24시간 상시 대출과 반납이 가능하며 접근성이 좋아 바쁜 직장인 이용자는 물론 근처 시민들에게 꾸준히 사랑받고 있다. 

또한, 500여 권의 스테디셀러 및 베스트셀러 도서를 보유하고 있으며 분기마다 전체 소장도서의 1/3을 최신 도서로 교환하고 있다. 

무인예약대출과 상호대차의 권수는 기존과 같이 각 도서관의 대출 권수(1인 5권)에 포함되며, 스마트도서관 대출 권수는 시립도서관 대출 권수에 포함된다.

시 관계자는 “시립·산소드림도서관과 스마트도서관 도서를 한층 자유롭게 이용할 수 있게 됐다”며 “시민들의 일상 속 독서생활에 도움이 되기를 기대한다”고 전했다.
