[남상훈 기자 = 원주] 지난 3일 북부지방산림청이 청사 대회의실에서 산불재난특수진화대원을 대상으로 산업재해 예방을 위해 '찾아가는 안전보건 교육'을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 산불 및 산림재해 현장 최일선에서 근무하고 있는 산불재난특수진화대원을 대상으로 한국산업안전보건공단 안전보건 전문 강사를 초빙해 안전보건 인식을 높이고 진화 및 재해예방 사업 중 발생할 수 있는 위험 요소들을 미리 인지하고 대비해 산업재해를 예방하기 위해 마련됐다. 

 교육 내용으로는 산업안전보건법 주요사항, 산불 및 산림재해 현장에서의 위험요소 차단 등 산불 및 산림재해 현장에서 일어날 수 있는 각종 안전사고 예방법에 대해서 심도있는 교육을 실시했다.

임하수 북부지방산림청장은 “앞으로 안전보건교육 확대를 통해 산불재난특수진화대원이 산불 및 산림재해 현장에서 안심하고 임무에 다할 수 있도록 안전하게 근무할 수 있는 근무환경을 조성하고자 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
