[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 백영현 포천시장 주재로 지난 6일부터 3일간 민선8기 주요업무 및 현안사업 보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 보고회는 ‘소통과 신뢰의 시민중심 포천’ 아래 부서별 주요 업무 추진상황과 현안사업의 문제점 및 향후 대책 등을 논의하고자 마련했고,부서별 주요 업무를 확인하고 시정 전반에 대한 이해를 도왔다. 

또한, 부진한 사업에 대해서는 보완을 통해 시정의 연속성을 확보하고 시민을 위한 공약사항 및 역점사업 추진 방향을 설정하는 시간을 가졌다.

백영현 포천시장은 “부서에서 추진하는 사업 하나하나가 모여 포천시의 미래를 만든다. 시민 모두가 ‘더 큰 포천, 더 큰 행복’을 체감할 수 있도록 공직자 모두 빈틈없이 업무를 추진해달라.”고 당부했다.
