[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시체육회는 지난 14일 종목별 대의원 19명이 참석한 가운데 '2022년 임시대의원총회'를 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 총회에서는 오는 8월 용인시 일원에서 개최되는 ‘제68회 경기도체육대회’ 참가 및 올해 12월에 진행되는 ‘동두천시체육회장 선거’ 관련 건을 보고했으며, 동두천시체육회 정관 개정의 건을 심의했다.

박용선 체육회장은 총회 개최에 앞서 “코로나19로 3년 동안 체육활동을 정상적으로 하지 못해 매우 안타까웠다”며 “올 하반기에는 각종 체육대회를 정상적으로 개최하여 활기찬 동두천시를 만들어나가겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
