[김현우 기자 = 포천] 백영현 포천시장은 지난 4월 26일 설운동에 조성 중인 대형 물류창고 공사 현장을 방문해 안전관리 상황을 점검했다고 1일 밝혔다. 

설운동 물류창고는 대지면적 약 29,000㎡에 건축 연면적 약 47,000㎡로, 오는 6월 15일 준공을 앞두고 있다.

안전 점검에 나선 백영현 포천시장은 현장을 꼼꼼히 확인하고, 다가오는 우기철 집중호우나 태풍 등으로 인한 피해가 발생하지 않도록 사전에 대비하는 등 안전사고 예방에 최선을 다해달라고 당부했다.

포천시는 우기철을 대비해 현장 내 붕괴취약지역에 대한 조치 여부와 작업 순서, 공법, 안전 계획 등을 집중적으로 살폈다.

백영현 포천시장은 “안전은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않는다. 공사 현장과 인접한 마을에 피해가 없도록 수시로 마을과 소통하고, 선제적인 점검을 통해 시민안전 확보에 만전을 기하겠다”고 말했다.
