[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 오는 16일부터 11월 6일까지 버스로 포천의 지질명소를 탐방하는 ‘지오투어링’을 운영한다고 밝혔다.

지오투어링은 3개 프로그램으로 진행한다. 지질공원해설사와 함께 버스를 타고 지질명소를 탐방하는 ‘지오버스투어링’과 비둘기낭폭포 비공개 내부 협곡을 탐방하는 ‘비둘기낭의 문이 열리다’, 해설사와 함께 한탄강 주상절리길을 탐방하는 ‘웰니스 지오트래킹’이 있다.

‘지오버스투어링’은 오는 16일부터 10월 23일까지 매달 2·3·4주 토·일요일에 운영하며, 비둘기낭폭포, 화적연, 멍우리 협곡 등을 지질공원해설사와 함께 이동하며 투어하는 프로그램이고, 참가비는 1인당 3,000원이다.

‘비둘기낭의 문이 열리다’는 상시 개방하지 않는 비둘기낭폭포의 내부협곡을 탐방하는 특별 프로그램으로 오는 8월 12일부터 15일까지 4일간 특별 운영하며, 참가비는 1인당 5,000원이다.

‘웰니스 지오트래킹’은 오는 10월 8일부터 11월 6일까지 매주 토·일요일에 한탄강 주상절리길 중 비둘기낭 순환 코스를 지질공원해설사와 함께 탐방하며, 참가비는 1인당 3,000원이다. 

시 관계자는 “이번 프로그램으로 한탄강의 아름다운 화산지형의 신비로움을 더욱 가까이서 체험할 수 있어 특별하다. 많은 관심과 참여 바란다.”고 말했다.
