[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 포천시는 지난 11일과 12일 양일간 지방세 고액체납자에 대한 가택수색을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 가택수택은 포천시 지방세 체납자 중 고액체납자 및 체납법인의 2차 납세의무자 등 4명을 대상으로 진행했다. 명품가방·시계, 순금장식품, 귀금속 등 90점의 동산과 현금 300여만 원을 압류했다.

시는 체납자들에게 오는 7월 말까지 2,400여만 원의 체납액 납부 약속을 받는 등 많은 성과를 거두었으며, 압류한 동산은 추후 전자 공매를 통해 처분해 체납액을 충당할 계획이다.

시 관계자는 “경기도(조세정의과)의 지원으로 실시된 이번 가택수색은「지방세 징수법」제33조와 제35조의 규정에 따라 철저한 사전조사와 위장전입자에 대한 지속적인 탐문 조사 등을 통해 가택수색 대상자를 선정했다.”고 전했다.
