[김현우 기자 = 포천] 포천시는 지난 29일 포천시 헌혈추진협의회 위원 위촉식 및 회의를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 협의회에는 경찰서, 소방서, 경기도의료원 포천병원, 대한적십자사 동부혈액원, 대한적십자사봉사회 포천지구협의회 위원이 참석했다.

협의회에서는 포천시 헌혈사업 추진현황과 향후 계획을 설명하고, 혈액수급 위기관리를 위한 단체헌혈 참여, 유관기관 개인 헌혈 독려 홍보방안 등을 논의했다.

포천시는 고령화·출생인구 감소로 날로 어려워지는 혈액수급 상황을 해결하기 위해 헌혈버스 운영을 늘리고, 헌혈에 동참한 시민에게 포천사랑상품권 증정하는 한편, 헌혈 다회자를 표창하는 등의 노력을 펼치고 있다.

헌혈버스는 매주 화요일 포천시청, 매주 금요일 소흘읍 장터 주차장, 매월 둘째 주 목요일에는 일동버스터미널에서 운영된다. 

만 16세~69세 시민은 신분증을 지참하여, 오전 10시부터 오후 4시까지 헌혈버스를 방문하면 참여할 수 있다. 

정연오 포천시보건소장은 “헌혈은 나의 가족, 이웃을 위해 사랑과 나눔을 실천하여 생명을 구할 수 있는 고귀한 일이며, 더욱 많은 시민들이 헌혈에 동참하셔서 사랑 나눔을 실천하시기 바란다”며 적극적인 참여를 당부했다.
