[김준호 기자 =동해시] 동해시(시장 심규언)가 시정 운영방향 및 주요 정책 등의 공유와 확산을 위해 대시민 소통의 장 마련에 나서 주목을 받고 있다 

3년만에 다시 개최되는 소통의 장은  오는 24일 오후 2시, 동해문화예술회관 대공연장에서  통·반장 및 기관·단체장, 일반시민, 직원 등 600여명이 참여한 가운데 개최된다.

이번 시정설명회에서는 시정운영 방향 설명과 시가 추진하게 될 중점 추진사업에 대한 시정보고 등 시정 전반에 대해 시민과 함께 공유하는 자리될 것으로 예상된다.

또한, 동해시민 행복 찾기’를 주제로 개그맨 박휘순 강사의 특별강연이 진행될 예정이다.  

한편, 1일 2개동 씩 10개동을 방문해 주민들과 함께 주요 현안사항 공유와 건의사항 청취를 위해 추진한 洞 신년인사회 및 시민 소통의 날’행사가 지난 20일 삼화동을 끝으로 성황리에 마무리 됐다. 

특히, 심규언 시장과 주요사업 부서장이 함께 배석해 현안 사업에 대한 질문에 답하는 방식으로 진행됐으며, 10개동 건의사항은 취합 후  부서 의견 등 검토를 거쳐 시정에 반영한다는 계획이다.

심규언 시장은 “동해시의 문화·산업·주거·환경 등의 균형있는 발전을 통해 희망과 행복지수를 높이기 위한 과감한 도전에 시민들의 지속적인 격려와 성원을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
