[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 양주시는 6월 17일,  제7기 예산참여시민위원회의 활동을 갈무리하는 성과보고회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

성과보고회는 연임 임원에 대한 감사패 수여와 예산참여시민위원회 활동보고 후 인천 강화군 주민참여예산 현장답사, 주민참여예산제도 발전방안 현장 토론 순으로 진행됐다.

지난 2020년 7월 출범한 제7기 양주시 예산참여시민위원회는 자치주민분과와 지역도시분과로 나눠 양주시 예산운영에 대한 주민의견 수렴, 예산절감을 위한 연구활동, 주민참여예산 제안사업 적정성 검토, 사업 우선순위 심의 등의 활동을 2년간 수행해왔고, 지난 2020년에는 3억 8,100만원 규모의 주민참여예산 사업(안) 20건을 심의·선정했고 2021년도에는 10억 7,900만원의 규모의 사업(안)30건을 선정했다.
