[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 20일 정선군 기관·사회단체 모임인 정진회에서는 군청 대회의실에서 최승준 정선군수 및 전영기 정선군 의장, 박재삼 정선경찰서장, 김근익 정선교육지원청 교육장, 조환근 정선소방서장 등 기관·사회단체장이 참석한 가운데 군민행복 정선 발전 방안에 대하여 논의하는 시간을 가졌다고 밝혔다.

기관·사회단체에서는 민선8기가 새롭게 힘찬 출발을 시작한 가운데 상호간 소통과 협업을 통해 지역의 현안들을 하나하나 해결해 나가고 군민이 행복한 정선을 위해 다같이 노력해 나가기로 뜻을 모았다.

또한 이날 월례회의에서는 민선8기 역점 공약사업을 비롯해 제47회 정선아리랑제, 함백한 야생화축제, 아우라지 뗏목축제, 석탄문화제, 정선군 카카오채널 운영, 고향사랑 기부제, 휴가철 음주단속, 성범죄 예방, 사회적 약자 후원, 평화통일기원 한마음 대장정 등 다양한 지역 현안에 대한 논의와 협업이 이루어졌다.

최승준 정선군수는 "군민들이 보내주신 성원 덕분에 안정적으로 민선 8기가 힘차게 출발할 수 있었다"며, 올림픽 문화유산을 활용한 국가 정원 지정, 군민 기본소득 시행, 강원랜드의 글로벌 리조트 조성, 농자재 반값 및 농민수당 인상, 정선의 교통환경 개선을 통한 관광 산업 및 지역경기 활성화 사업 등 많은 현안사항 해결로 건강하고 더불어 사는 행복한 사회가 될 수 있도록 각 기관·사회단체의 많은 관심과 협조를 당부했다.

한편, '정진회'는 지역의 40개 기관·사회단체에서 참여해 활동하고 있으며, 희망찬 아침 평온한 저녁 행복한 정선을 위해 소통과 유기적인 협력체제 구축을 통해 주거·교육·의료·치안 등 각 분야에서 노력하고 있는 것은 물론 지역의 현안사항 해결을 위해 정기적인 모임과 토론 등 다양한 활동을 전개하고 있다.
