[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 서태원 가평군수는 지난 17일, '민선8기 공약사업 실천계획 보고회'를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 보고회는 서태원 가평군수 주재로 주관부서별 공약사업 실천계획을 보고하고, 공약사업 주관 부서장들이 공약별 추진방향, 연도별 재원확보 대책과 세부 추진계획 등 구체적 실행 방안을 보고하고 문제점과 대책에 대해 심도 있게 토의하는 방식으로 진행됐다.

민선8기 가평군은 ▶맞춤형 인구정책 추진 ▶군민중심의 경제·농업정책 ▶생활인구 10만의 자족도시 완성 ▶도시 인프라 구축 ▶문화가 융성한 관광콘텐츠 육성 ▶군민의 건강한 삶 ▶일 잘하는 가평군 이라는 7대 목표, 56개 역점 공약사업을 추진할 계획이다.

주요공약사업으로는 ▶가평의료원(경기북부 거점병원)유치 ▶가평 2030청년 지원 ▶미영연방 관광안보 공원 조성 ▶3개권역별 청정산업단지 기반조성 ▶국도75호선 확장사업 착공 등 광역도로망 확충 ▶상·하수도 사회기반시설 증진 ▶명품주거단지 1만호 건설(군인아파트 등)목표로 주거문제 해결 등이다.

군은 이번 보고회 결과를 토대로 공약사업의 내용을 보완하고 구체화하여 오는 9월 중 민선8기 공약사업을 최종 확정하여 군 홈페이지를 통해 공개할 계획이다.  

또한, 분기별 추진실적을 점검하여 공약사업이 차질 없이 추진될 수 있도록 지속적으로 관리해 나갈 방침이다.

서태원 군수는 “공약사업은 가평의 발전과 군민의 삶의 질 향상을 위한 공식적인 약속으로 꼼꼼하고 철저하게 추진하여 군민이 피부로 체감할 수 있도록 최선을 다해주길 바란다”고 당부했다.
