[남상훈 기자 = 포천] 23일 백영현 포천시장은 선단동 소재 한 식당에서 선단동 주민과의 ‘공감·소통 조찬 간담회’를 개최하고 건의 및 현안사항에 대해 토론을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

간담회에는 백영현 포천시장, 포천시의회 임종훈 운영위원장, 윤종애 선단동장, 채수정 통장협의회장, 선단동 주민대표 등 12명이 참석했다.

지난 8월 주민과의 공감·소통 간담회 시 건의된 사항에 대한 추진상황과 향후계획 등 담당공무원의 설명으로 시작해 선단동 현안사항에 대한 열띤 토론이 이어졌다.

시 관계자는 “주민분들의 건의사항 하나하나를 면밀히 검토해 신속히 처리될 수 있도록 적극적으로 행정을 펼쳐 나가겠다.”고 전했다.

백영현 포천시장은 “시민과 함께 공감하고 소통하는 것이야말로 포천시장으로서 기본적인 책임이자 의무라 생각한다. 수시로 지역을 찾아 시민분들의 어려움을 현장에서 찾고 해결방안을 모색하기 위해 적극 소통하겠다.”면서 “선단동 주민의 최대 숙원사업인 6군단 부지 활용 방안에 대해 장기적 혜안으로 심도있게 검토 중이다. 아울러 선단IC~회전교차로 간 도로 확·포장공사 역시 신속하게 추진하겠다.”고 말했다.
