[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 6일 백영현 포천시장이 출범 100일 맞아 기자회견을 열고 포천시의 미래 청사진을 제시했다.

지난 7월 1일 민선 8기 시정을 시작한 백 시장은 취임 일성으로 시민안전과 소통을  강조했었다.

첫날 재난 상황실을 시작으로 100일동안 14개 읍면동들을 차례로 순회하며 시민의 목소리에 귀를 기울였다. 시정을 펼치는데 시민이 가장 필요한 일들과 불편 사항을 직접 듣고 개선하기 위함이었다. 이는 소통을 통한 시정을 펼쳐가겠다는 의지를 피력한 것이다.

100일간 시민 소통 기간을 마친 백 시장은 이날 기자회견을 통해 ⯈시민중심 열린도시 ⯈품격있는 인문도시 ⯈바른성장 미래도시 ⯈균형발전 자족도시 등 4대 시정방향을 기반으로, 시민생활 밀접분야 10대 분야 153개 사업을 제시했다.

특히 ‘GTX-E노선'과 연계한 탑석~민락~소흘을 직결하는 부분과 ‘포천-철원고속도로 연장’, ‘포천천 블루웨이 조성’, ‘백리향 자전거 둘레길 개설’, ‘포천시 공립 치매전담형 노인요양시설 건립’ 등을 핵심 공약으로 제시했다.
