[남상훈 기자 = 포천시] 지난 3일 백영현 포천시장은 관내 거주 학생들에게 행정참여 기회를 제공하고, 지역사회에 대한 관심을 제고하기 위해 방학기간 동안 운영하는 ‘2023 겨울방학 지방행정체험 1기 출범식’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

시청 대회의실에서 개최된 출범식은 행정체험에 선발된 1기 체험단 49명을 대상으로 1·2부로 나누어 1부는 체험학생 선서 및 체험 신분증 수여식, 축사, 기념촬영 순으로 2부는 체험할 내용과 근무요령을 배우는 예비교육 순으로 진행했다. 이번 겨울방학 지방행정체험 1기에 선발된 학생들은 포천시청, 직속기관, 사업소, 읍·면·동 등에 배치되어 4주 동안 근무하게 된다.

이날 출범식에서 백영현 시장은 “현재 청년들이 겪고 있는 어려운 상황을 충분히 공감하고 있다. 청년들의 어려움을 해결하기 위해 다양한 의견을 듣고 시책을 통해 해결책을 찾겠다.”고 밝혔다.

또한 “포천시의 구성원이라는 자부심과 책임감을 가지고 행정체험에 성실히 임해주길 바라며 이번 체험을 바탕으로 지역사회에 이바지할 수 있는 인재로 성장하길 바란다”고 말했다.
