[김현우 기자 = 포천] 포천시는 지난 20일 ‘2023년 제1회 포천시 청소년어울림마당’ 개막식을 성황리에 마쳤다고 전했다.

이날 행사에는 백영현 포천시장. 서과석 포천시의회의장을 비롯해 관내 청소년과 시민 약 1,000여 명이 참석했다.

제1회 청소년 어울림마당은 포천시 청소년자치기구와 관내 유관기관 포천청소년교육의회, 포천여자중학교, 송우고등학교, 포천소방서 등 다양한 기관과 연계해, 청소년동아리 23개 팀의 공연과 119안전체험관 체험, 천연수세미 만들기, 특수분장사 진로체험, 패션디자이너 진로체험, 먹거리 부스 등 25개의 다양한 진로 체험 부스를 운영했다.

백영현 포천시장은 “시는 오늘 행사뿐 아니라 우리 청소년들이 저마다 소중한 꿈을 펼칠 수 있는 도시를 만들기 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다”며 “앞으로도 청소년들의 다양한 참여기회 확대와 지역연계를 통한 역량강화 사업 등 다양한 지원을 아끼지 않을 계획이다"라고 밝혔다.

청소년어울림마당은 여성가족부와 경기도, 포천시가 주최하고, 포천시 교육지원과에서 주관하는 행사로 연 5회 개최된다. 

포천시 관계자는 “청소년 어울림마당이 청소년들의 일상 회복과 자아 강화를 위한 뜻깊은 체험 공간이 됐길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 포천시 청소년들이 다양한 청소년 문화행사에 적극 참여할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
