[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시 장암동주민센터는 범시민 이웃사랑 나눔 캠페인인 100일간 사랑릴레이 배턴 잇기 운동이 큰 성과를 거두었다고 밝혔다.

작년 10월 21일부터 지난 1월 28일 총 100일간의 기간 동안 장암동주민센터에 어려운 이웃을 돕기 위한 주민들과 자생단체, 종교계, 익명 기부자의 따뜻한 손길이 모여 총 3천600만 원 상당의 성금과 현물이 기부됐는데, 이는 올해 모금 목표액인 2천만 원을 성큼 넘어선 금액이라고 했다.

올해는 쌀, 라면, 김치, 이불, 전기요 등 취약계층의 기초생활 지원을 위한 기부 물품의 품목이 다양하게 접수돼 가구 특성에 맞는 나눔 활동이 이루어졌고, 또한 모금된 성금은 장암동 내 복지사각지대 발굴 및 위기가구 지원에 뜻깊게 사용될 예정이라고 했다.
