이날 전달식에 참석한 보람어린이집 신현영 원장은 “이번 플리마켓은 아이들에게 자원의 소중함과 일상 속 이웃사랑 실천을 전파하는 의미 있는 행사였다”며 “아이들의 작은 정성의 손길이 어려운 이웃에게 큰 힘이 되었으면 한다”며 소감을 밝혔다.

이에 서태원 가평군수는 “작은 정성을 모아 소중한 나눔을 실천해 주신 보람어린이집 모든 관계자분들께 감사드린다”며 “원생들이 어렸을 때부터 지역사회와의 나눔을 통해 더불어 성장해 갈 수 있길 바란다”고 전했다.
