[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 7일 소흘읍행정복지센터는 봉사단체 같이플러스에서 동절기 취약계층 지원을 위해 100만 원 상당 이불 20세트를 기탁했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 기탁은 지난달 동절기 소외계층 지원을 위한 따뜻한 사랑 나누기 일일 찻집을 운영 수익금으로 마련됐으며, 경기도 사회복지공동모금회를 통해 생활이 어려운 저소득가구, 차상위 계층 20가구에 전달할 예정이라고 했다.

김영선 단장은 “동절기 힘겹게 추위를 이겨내야 하는 이웃들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보내는 데 조금이나마 보탬이 되었으면 좋겠다. 앞으로도 이웃들을 위한 나눔의 손길을 이어나갈 계획이다.”라고 말했다.

최기진 소흘읍장은 “어려운 경제 여건 속에서도 주변 이웃을 위한 사랑나눔을 실천하는 같이플러스에 감사드린다.”라며 “기탁해주신 물품은 소중하게 전달하겠다.”라며 감사의 마음을 전했다. 

한편 같이플러스는 50여명의 회원으로 구성된 봉사단체로 거리정화 활동, 농촌 일손돕기, 장학금 기탁 등 이웃사랑 실천을 위한 나눔활동을 지속적으로 이어가고 있다고 밝혔다.
