[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 20일 의정부시 송산2동주민센터는 민락동 소재 눈높이러닝센터에서 이웃나눔 라면 300개를 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

눈높이러닝센터 민락학원은 매년 원아들과 함께 연말 나눔 프로젝트를 진행해 취약계층에 라면 꾸러미를 후원해오고 있다고 했다.

이지연 센터장은 “책을 통한 지식 함양도 중요하지만, 이웃의 아픔에 공감하며 어려움을 나눌 수 있는 품성을 갖추는 것이 더 중요하다고 생각한다며, 어려운 이웃을 생각하는 마음으로 이번 행사를 준비했으며 아이들에게 살아 있는 산교육으로 전해지길 바란다고 말했다. 앞으로도 취약계층을 위해 나눔을 실천하는 기회를 자주 만들겠다”고 지속적인 나눔 문화에 동참 의사를 밝혔다.

이종일 송산2동장은 “따뜻한 마음을 담아 정성껏 마련한 후원물품을 보고 있으니 추운 겨울이 따뜻하게 느껴진다며, 눈높이러닝센터 학원의 따뜻한 마음과 뜻깊은 교육안에서 자라나는 아이들이 지역사회의 훌륭한 인재로 거듭나길 바란다”고 말했다.
