해당사업은 한국JC 해외사업실에서 진행하며, 어려운 환경의 다문화가정을 선정하고 전국 지구JC, 지방JC와 함께 다문화가정이 한해동안 자립할 수 있도록 쌀, 김치, 생필품 등 다양한 물품을 4월부터 올해 12월까지 9개월간 매월 지원하는 사업으로, 지난 3월 25일, 평창군가족센터가 사단법인 한국청년회의소 다문화가정 지원사업인 '사랑나누米'사업에 강원도 내에서 유일하게 선정되어 추진하게 되었다고 전했다.
최미자 평창군가족센터장은 “어려운 환경 속에서 열심히 살고 있는 다문화가정에 생필품 지원을 통해 경제적인 부담을 줄여주고 한국생활 적응에 용기와 힘을 보태줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.”고 말했다.
