[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 14일 의정부시 두성판넬은 겨울철을 맞이해 저소득층 이웃을 위한 350만 원 상당 김장김치 500kg을 장암동주민센터에 기부했다고 밝혔다.

장암동 소재 두성판넬은 매년 겨울철마다 라면, 쌀 등 어려운 이웃들에게 꼭 필요한 식품류를 기부하며 이웃사랑을 실천해왔다고 했다.

김무환 대표는 “추운 겨울이지만, 장암동 이웃분들이 마음만은 따뜻한 겨울 보내시기를 바란다”고 기부의 뜻을 말했다.

박재범 장암동장은 “우리 주변의 어려운 이웃을 위해 매년 나눔에 동참해주셔서 감사드린다”며 “이웃을 위한 소중한 마음이 헛되지 않도록, 독거어르신과 장애인 가구에 두루 나눠드리겠다”고 전했다.

장암동 주민센터는 경기 사회복지공동모금회와 함께 100일간 사랑릴레이 배턴잇기 운동을 지난 10월 21일부터 내년 1월 28일까지 100일간 전개하고 있고, 우리 주변의 어려운 이웃을 돕고자 하는 분은 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 장암동주민센터에 방문하거나 전화해 기부에 동참할 수 있다고 밝혔다.
