[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 12월 10일 양주시 회천3동은 직장·공장 새마을운동 양주시협의회에서 취약계층의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 돕기 위한 이불 20채를 기부했다고 밝혔다.

이날 전달식에는 김금숙 회천3동장을 비롯해 직장·공장 새마을운동 양주시협의회 오수영 회장과 임직원 등이 참석했으며, 기부받은 이불은 관내 취약계층과 복지사각지대에 놓인 이웃들에게 전달될 예정이라고 했다.

오수영 회장은 “코로나19 장기화로 취약계층의 어려움이 가중되는 시기에 조금이나마 응원을 보내고자 이불을 준비하게 됐다”고 전했다. 

김금숙 회천3동장은“따뜻한 나눔을 실천해주신 직장·공장 새마을운동 양주시협의회에 진심으로 감사드린다”며“모든 주민이 따뜻한 겨울을 날 수 있도록 필요한 가정에 잘 전달될 수 있도록 하겠다”고 말했다.
