이날 성금은 포천시청 어린이집 교직원 및 학부모, 원아들의 자발적 참여로 진행한 바자회 수익금으로 남다른 의미가 있고, 기탁된 성금·품은 관내 드림스타트 후원 가구에 전달 될 예정이라고 했다.

이옥주 원장은 “작은 나눔이지만 어려운 상황 속에서도 꿈과 희망을 잃지 않는 아이들에게 조금이라도 도움이 됐으면 해 후원 물품 및 성금을 기탁하게 됐다.”라고 말했다. 

김수정 과장은 “힘든 시기에도 불구하고 우리 드림스타트 아이들이 밝고 건강하게 성장하는데 필요한 물품 및 성금을 기탁해 주신 포천시청 어린이집 교직원 및 학부모, 원아들에게 진심으로 감사드린다.”면서 “필요한 아동들에게 잘 전달하겠다”라고 전했다.
