[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 17일 정선청년봉사단에서는 정선읍 구미정 웨딩홀에서 회장단 이·취임식을 개최하고 건강하고 따뜻한 지역사회 만들기를 다짐하는 자리가 마련되었다고 전했다.

이날 이·취임식에는 신태윤 정선청년봉사단 회장을 비롯한 최승준 정선군수, 기관사회단체장, 지역 주민 등이 참석한 가운데 신입회원패 전달, 표창장·최우수 회원패·감사패 수여, 이·취임사, 재직기념패 전달, 축사 등의 순으로 진행됐으며 이날 정선청년봉사단은 지역의 어려운 이웃을 위해 써달라며 정선읍 행정복지센터에 불우이웃 돕기 성금 50만 원과 지역인재 육성을 위해 봉사단 자녀 4명에게 각 50만 원씩 총 200만원의 장학금을 전달했다고 밝혔다.

신태윤 정선청년봉사단 회장은 "이웃사랑과 나눔실천을 최고의 가치로 삼고 지역주민 모두가 건강하고 행복한 정선을 위해 청년봉사단 회원 모두가 하나된 마음으로 적극 노력해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

한편 정선청년봉사단은 지난 2009년부터 지역 내 소외계층을 위해 다양한 분야에서 봉사활동을 지속적으로 전개하는 등 지역주민의 행복한 삶을 위해 나눔과 사랑실천의 모범이 되고 있다고 했다.
