[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 25일 가평읍은 가평축산업협동조합에서 관내 취약계층에게 전달해 달라며 정성으로 준비한 성품을 기탁했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 기탁된 성품은 기초수급자, 차상위계층 등 관내 취약가정에 전달되어 소중하게 쓰일 예정이라고 했다.

기탁식에 참석한 박장훈 상임이사는 “다가오는 설 명절을 맞이하여 어려움을 겪고 있는 이웃들이 따뜻하고 행복한 명절을 보내길 바란다. 용기를 잃지 말고 힘을 냈으면 좋겠다.”라고 기탁 소감을 전했다. 

임상호 가평읍장은 “설 명절을 맞이하여 소외되기 쉬운 이웃들에게 위로가 되길 바라며 따뜻한 온정의 손길이 필요한 관내 주민들을 위해 더 많은 관심을 갖도록 노력하겠다.”는 뜻을 전했다.
