[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 25일 동두천시 상패동은 개미와베짱이에서 설명절을 맞아 이웃나눔 라면 130박스를 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

개미와베짱이 이건식 대표는 동두천 상패동 소재 양돈 농가를 운영하며 동두천시를 위한 사회 봉사활동 및 이웃사랑 실천에 꾸준히 참여해 모범을 보이고 있다고 했다.

이건식 대표는 “이렇게 기부를 할 수 있어 기쁘다. 이번 기부를 통해 설 명절을 맞아 상패동에 거주하는 어려운 이웃들에게 조금이나마 따뜻한 정이 전달될 수 있기를 바란다”고 밝혔다. 

한영수 상패동장은 “관내 어려운 이웃에게 따뜻한 명절을 선물해주셔서 감사드리며 지속적인 복지사각지대 발굴을 통해 소외된 이웃이 없도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 감사의 뜻을 전했다.
