[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 1월 27일 의정부시 송산1동은 용현동 소재 리하트병원에서 관내 어려운 이웃들을 위해 써달라며 이웃돕기 성금 100만 원과 마스크 2,000장을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 기탁받은 성금은 경기사회복지공동모금회를 통해 도움의 손길이 필요한 지역사회 소외계층 지원을 위해 사용될 예정이며, 마스크는 관내 저소득층에게 전달될 예정이라고 했다.

이강정 리하트병원장은 “사랑릴레이 배턴잇기에 동참해 나눔을 실천할 수 있어 뜻깊게 생각하며, 기부한 성금과 마스크가 소외된 이웃들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 좋겠다. 앞으로도 지역사회에 온기가 필요한 이웃들과 함께할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.

김보경 송산1동장은 “주변 이웃들을 생각하며 성금을 기부해주신 리하트 병원에 감사드리며, 전달해주신 성금은 관내 취약계층을 위해 소중히 사용하겠다”고 말했다.
