[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 13일 의정부시 장암동새마을지도자협의회는 겨울철을 맞이한 어려운 이웃을 위해 전해달라며 150만 원 상당 라면 102상자를 장암동주민센터에 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

박상배 장암동새마을지도자협의회 회장은 “회원분들의 마음을 모아 준비한 라면이 우리 주변의 이웃들에게 따뜻한 힘이 되길 바란다”고 기부의 뜻을 밝혔다.

박재범 장암동장은 “코로나로 인해 모두가 어려운 상황임에도 불구하고, 소외된 이웃을 위한 나눔에 동참해주신 장암동새마을지도자협의회 회원분들께 감사드린다”며 “한뜻으로 모아주신 따뜻한 마음을 어려운 이웃분들께 소중히 전달하겠다”고 말했다.

장암동 주민센터는 경기 사회복지공동모금회와 함께 100일간 사랑릴레이 배턴 잇기 운동을 지난 10월 21일부터 내년 1월 28일까지 100일간 전개하고 있고, 우리 주변의 어려운 이웃을 돕고자 하는 분은 누구나 참여할 수 있으며, 장암동주민센터에 방문하거나 전화하여 기부에 동참할 수 있다고 밝혔다.

Park Sang-bae, chairman of the Jangam-dong Saemaul Leaders Association, said, "I hope that the ramen prepared by the members' hearts will become a warm strength to our neighbors."

The Jangam-dong Community Center, together with the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea, is running a 100-day love relay baton connection campaign for 100 days from October 21st to January 28th next year, and anyone who wants to help our neighbors in need can participate. They said that they can participate in the donation by visiting or calling the Jangam-dong Community Service Center.
