충청남도공공노동조합 충남도청지회와 충남도청종건소지회에서 동해시 산불 피해 극복을 위해 사용해 달라며, 성금 303만원을 기탁했고, 충청남도공공노동조합 충청도청지회와 충남도청종건소지회는 충남도청 및 자치단체의 직·간접고용 공공부문 노동자로 이뤄져, 현재 충남 각 10개 도·시·군, 9개 지역위원회, 3개 지부, 22개 지회로 구성됐다고 했다.

또한, 농촌지도자 동해시연합회에서도 동해시청을 방문해 200만원의 산불 재해 구호 성금을 기탁했으며, (사)한국자활기업협회와 희망나르미사회적협동조합에서도 2,868만원의 후원금을, 강원랜드와 강원랜드 노동조합 및 더프라미스는 산불피해 이재민 임시거주시설을 위한 후원물품을 동해시에 전달했다고 전했다.
