[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 24일 의정부시 장암동주민센터는 한국사회보장정보원에서 주관한 ‘2021년 통합사례관리 선도사업 공모전’에서 장려상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

한국사회보장원에서 주관한 이번 공모전은 지난 12월 1일부터 8일까지 8일간 전국지방자치단체의 시군구 및 읍면동을 대상으로 진행됐으며, 공모주제는 정보통신기술 ‘ICT’를 활용한 복지사각지대 발굴과 복지관 등 민관협력을 통한 사례관리 운영사례로 사업의 적극성과 효과성, 연속성, 타 지자체로의 확산 가능성 등에 주안점을 두고 심사가 이루어졌고, 장암동주민센터는 지역적 특성을 고려한 1인 취약가구 집중관리 사업과 ICT 기반의 상시돌봄체계를 구축한 점이 강점으로 평가됐다고 했다.

올해 장암동주민센터는 찾아가는 보건복지팀이 신설되면서 1인 취약가구 고독사 예방을 위한 각종 시책사업을 주력해 추진해왔는데, 장암종합사회복지관, 장암1단지관리소와 고독사 예방을 위한 업무협약 체결을 시작으로 기관 간 협업을 통해 고위험 취약가구를 적극 발굴하고 개입함으로써 고립가구에 대한 즉각적인 서비스를 지원해왔고, 그 결과 장암동에서는 정기적으로 발견되던 고독사가 사업추진 이후에는 단 한 건도 보고되지 않는 성과를 이뤘다고 전했다.

발굴된 고위험군을 대상으로 ICT기반의 비대면 돌봄서비스 ‘AI반려로봇 등’를 제공함으로써 코로나 시대 돌봄 공백 최소화에 총력을 다하고 있다고 했다.

박재범 장암동장은 “그간 지역 주민들의 복지향상을 위해 앞만 보고 달려왔는데, 통합사례관리 선도사업 수상이라는 영예를 얻게 되어 감회가 새롭다. 앞으로도 우리 지역 실정에 맞는 시책 개발에 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
