[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 제7기 양주시장직 인수위원회는 지난 28일, 강수현 당선인과 인수위원이 참석한 가운데 복지·문화예술, 사회적경제 분야 기관·단체장과의 정책간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이날 간담회에 참석한 유관기관 단체장들은 산적한 현안과 당면한 현장 문제를 자유롭게 쏟아내며 여건 개선을 위한 대책 마련을 요청했다. 

오전에 열린 복지 및 문화예술 분야 간담회에서는 ▷장애인 택시 운영 확대 ▷장애인 일자리 사업 확충 ▷요양보호사 처우개선 ▷지역아동센터 종사자 처우개선 ▷노인 취업기회 확대 ▷성인발달장애인 교육시설 설치 ▷가정폭력 피해 아동 보호시설 설치 ▷청년들의 양주시 정착 지원 ▷1인가구 증가에 따른 전담조직 설치 ▷양주역사박물관 건립 ▷국가무형문화재보유자 처우 개선 ▷문화예술단체 지원 확대 등을 건의했다.

이어 오후에 진행된 간담회에서는 사회적경제 분야 기관장들이 ▶사회적경제 정책협의회 구성 ▶사회적경제 기업 물품 적극 구매 ▶사회적경제기업 지원센터 설립 ▶드론 활성화 정책 추진 ▶소상공인연합회 지원 ▶관내 소상공 기업인에 대한 세제 혜택 등을 위한 효과적인 지원방안 모색을 요구했다.

김상헌 인수위원장은 “지역발전에 중추적 역할을 담당하는 유관기관 단체장을 모시고 보다 현실적인 고충과 애로사항을 청취하고 현장 중심의 정책 제안을 수렴하게 된 것을 뜻깊게 생각한다”며 “간담회에서 제시된 의견이 민선 8기 공약사항에 충분히 반영될 수 있도록 적극 검토하겠다”고 밝혔다.

강수현 당선인은 "이번 시민 소통간담회를 통해 4년간 양주시정을 운영함에 있어 무엇이 가장 우선돼야 하는지 파악할 수 있는 소중한 시간이었다"며 "취임 이후에도 더 자주 소통하고 긴밀하게 협력해 각 분야별 현장의 목소리가 정책에 담길 수 있도록 노력해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
