[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강수현 양주시장은 22일 시청 대회의실에 마련된 전시종합상황실에서 열린 ‘2022년 을지연습 상황보고회’에 참석해 을지연습 훈련에 따른 최초 상황보고를 받았다고 전했다.

을지연습 첫날인 22일 오전 6시를 기점으로 발령된 비상소집에 시청 공무원 전 직원들이 응소를 완료한 가운데 열린 ‘2022년 을지연습 상황보고회’에는 강수현 시장을 비롯한 실·국장이 참석해 전시 전환절차 연습과 행정기관 소산훈련, 전시예산편성ㆍ실무대책에 관한 주요 현안을 논의했다.

강수현 시장은 훈시를 통해 “이번 훈련은 코로나19 사태 이후 3년 만에 실시되는 연습인 만큼 훈련 참가자 모두 임무수행 절차를 숙달해 국가비상사태에 총체적으로 대처할 수 있는 역량을 키울 수 있도록 최선을 노력해달라”며 “유무형의 안보위협으로부터 양주시민의 생명과 안전을 보호하기 위해 위기상황에 대비한 실전적인 연습으로 확고한 안보태세를 확립하는데 노력하겠다”고 당부했다.

오는 25일까지 진행하는 을지훈련은 전쟁 이전 국지도발 등 국가위기관리 및 전시전환 절차 연습과 개전 이후 국가 총력전 연습을 통해 완벽한 국가비상대비태세를 확립하는 국가위기관리 종합훈련으로 올해는 한·미 당국의 연합연습인 ‘을지 프리덤 실드’와 연계해 실시한다.
