[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 11월 25일, 평창군 기관ㆍ단체장이 평창군자원봉사센터가 주관하는 ‘노블레스 오블리주 이음’ 활동의 일환으로 연탄 나눔 자원봉사에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

이번 봉사활동에는 한왕기 평창군수, 최영수 평창소방서장, 김진홍 경찰서장, 신장진 한국전력공사 평창지사장, 박현창 평창군시설관리공단 이사장, 김성태 평창군 자원봉사센터 운영위원장, 이은미 평창군자원봉사센터장이 참여하여 평창읍 종부1리에 거주하는 저소득 가정을 직접 방문하여 따뜻한 마음을 담아 연탄 250장을 전달했다고 전했다. 

이은미 평창군자원봉사센터장은 “추워지는 날씨에 주민 모두가 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 자원봉사활동 추진 및 홍보에 최선을 다하겠다.”고 의지를 밝혔다.

한왕기 평창군수는 “지역사회의 번영과 발전을 위해 꾸준히 헌신봉사하시는 평창군 기관ㆍ단체장님들과 봉사자 여러분께 감사드린다.”며, “앞으로도 현장에서 주민들의 어려움을 직접 느끼며 복지사각지대 해소를 위한 적극적인 지원을 이어나가겠다.”고 말했다.
