[남상훈 기자] 지난 24일 캠코는 캠코양재타워에서 캄보디아 재무부, 법무부 등으로 구성된 캄보디아 대표단을 대상으로 캠코의 국유재산 관리 노하우 전수를 위한 연수를 실시했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 연수는 캄보디아 정부에서 공공부문 관리 효율화를 위한 정책 수립을 위해 국유재산 관리 전담기관인 캠코에 국유재산 관리 노하우 공유를 요청하면서 추진됐다.

이날 캠코는 국유재산 정책 등 제도, 국유재산 관리·처분 방법, 국유재산 총조사 사례, 드론·인공지능(AI) 등 신기술 활용 재산관리 등에 대한 노하우를 공유했다. 또한, 연수 참가자들과 양국의 국유재산 관리제도 비교·분석과 정책 토론, 캄보디아 국유재산 관리 효율화를 위한 협력방안에 대한 논의로 연수의 실효성도 높였다.

한편, 캠코는 지난 2001년부터 중국ㆍ태국 등 16개국 41개 기관을 대상으로 총 51회에 걸쳐 부실채권 정리 및 국유재산 관리·개발 경험을 전수하고 있다. 이번 캄보디아 대표단 외에도 페루·에콰도르의 국유재산 관리역량 강화를 위한 IDB 주관 국제기구 컨설팅 등을 성공적으로 수행한 바 있다.

원호준 캠코 본부장은 “캠코는 인공지능과 같은 첨단기술을 국유재산 관리에 도입하여 재산관리 업무의 효율성을 높이고 있다”며, “캠코의 국유재산 관리 경험과 노하우가 캄보디아 공공부문 관리 효율화 정책 수립에 실질적인 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
