[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 고성군은 2022년 고성군 청소년 참여위원회에 참여할 청소년을 모집한다고 밝혔다. 

청소년 참여위원회는 청소년이 직접 정책 및 사업의 의사 결정 과정에 주체적으로 참여함으로써 청소년 정책의 실질적인 효과를 높이고 청소년 권익 증진을 도모하고자 하는 청소년 참여기구라고 했다. 

참여위원에게는 고성군에서 직접 위촉장을 수여하며 참여위원은 '청소년 권리·인권 모니터링', '고성군 청소년 관련 시책 의견 제안', '청소년 포럼·토론회·정책제안대회 참여', '관계 기관 교류활동 등의 활동'을 수행하게 되며, 또한 참여위원 중 1명은 강원도 청소년 참여위원으로 추천되어 강원도의 정책 제안을 위한 워크숍 및 토론회 참여 등 다양한 활동을 펼치게 된다고 전했다. 

모집 기간은 지난 2월 3일부터 오는 3월 13일까지 이며 모집 인원은 20명으로, 고성군에 주민등록이 되어있거나 관내 소재 학교에 재학 중인 만13세~24세 청소년 중 청소년 정책 및 활동에 관심이 많고 이를 기획하고 제안할 수 있는 청소년이라면 누구나 지원할 수 있고, 고성군 청소년 참여위원회 위원으로 참여를 희망하는 청소년은 고성군청소년수련관 홈페이지에서 신청서를 다운로드 후 작성하여 주민복지실 드림스타트팀으로 우편 및 방문 제출하면 된다고 했다.
