[남상훈 기자 = 의정부시] 지난 11일 의정부시 호원1동주민센터는  다양하고 복합적인 복지 문제로 인해 위기에 처한 대상자에 대한 전문적인 개입과 자원 연계 논의를 위해 민관협력 통합사례회의를 개최했다.

이번 회의를 통해 논의된 사례 대상자는 가족으로부터 고립된 채 혼자 생활하는 1인 독거노인이다.

경제적 어려움으로 인해 월세가 장기간 체납됐으며 이로 인해 전기와 가스가 끊겨 휴대용 가스버너로 식사를 해결하다 화재를 일으켜 이웃 주민들과의 마찰이 발생하기도 했다. 이후 강제 퇴거 되어 노숙 생활을 하고 있지만 소통에 어려움이 있어 지역사회의 도움이 절실히 필요한 상황이었다. 

이에 대상자가 지역사회의 일원으로 생활해나갈 수 있도록 도움을 줄 수 있는 지원 방안을 강구하고자 호원1동주민센터, 의정부시정신건강복지센터, 의정부 경찰서호원지구대, 경기북부노인전문기관 및 주민 대표가 한자리에 모여 각 기관별 서비스 제공계획에 대해 정보를 공유하고 논의를 진행했다.

조복현 호원1동장은 “오늘 사례 회의에 참석해 주신 여러 관계자분들께 감사드리며, 오늘 논의된 내용을 바탕으로 대상자의 문제와 위기가 해결될 수 있기를 희망한다. 호원1동 주민 중 어려운 상황에 놓인 주민이 있다면 앞으로도 관련 전문 기관들과 협력하여 다각적인면에서 위기를 해소 할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.
