[김현우 기자 = 포천] 포천시는 지난 14일 SK증권과 미래형 첨단스마트시티 조성 사업협력을 위한 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

백영현 포천시장과 SK증권 전우종 대표이사는 시장 집무실에서 혁신적 스마트시티 조성과 시민을 배려하는 포용적 스마트서비스 제공을 위한 사업협력 계획 및 방안을 논의했다.

이번 간담회는 지난 4월 5일, 포천시와 SK증권이 스마트시티 조성사업 양해각서(MOU) 체결 후 이루어진 자리다.

포천시와 SK증권은 양해각서 체결을 통해 스마트시티 개발계획 수립 및 연구개발, 사업추진에 필요한 인력(자원) 상호 제공, 사업의 성공적 시행을 위한 각 분야의 협업 등을 추진해나가기로 했다.

백영현 포천시장은 “이번 간담회가 SK증권과 협력해 포천시만의 특화된 스마트시티 모델을 개발하고, 미래 지속가능한 도시로 한발 더 나아가는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
