김명기 당선인은 지난 6월 10일과 12일 이틀에 걸쳐 횡성경찰서와 횡성소방서, 횡성우체국, 횡성문화원 등 기관·단체를 예방했으며, 오는 6월 20일부터 23일까지는 횡성군 내 9개 읍면 주요 기관단체에 방문하여 당선 인사와 더불어 주민 의견 청취의 시간을 가질 예정이라고 했다.
