양주시(시장 강수현)는 양주시청 대회의실에서 관내 16개 마을공동체가 참석한 가운데 마을공동체 네트워크 ‘같이가치 네트워크’행사를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.

4일 시에 따르면 이번 행사는 ‘양주시 마을공동체’사업의 일환으로 공동체간의 네트워크 강화와 역량 강화를 위해 마련됐다.

행사는 ▲공동체별 활동 소개 및 중간성과 공유, ▲공동체 간 협력 방안 탐색, ▲공동체 성과공유회 추진 의견 수렴, ▲9월 및 10월 공동체 추진 일정 및 정산 컨설팅 안내 순으로 치러졌다.

이날 행사에는 ‘마을공동체의 질적 성장’을 주제로 지난 마을공동체 활동과 성과를 공유하고 공동체 활성화에 필요한 지원정책과 협력 방안 등 향후 방향성 확립에 대해 참석자들 간 열띤 논의가 이뤄졌다.

강수현 시장은“양주시 발전을 위해 주민 스스로 마을의 문제를 해결하고 마을공동체를 복원해 나가는 각종 사업이 급격한 도시화로 쇠퇴하고 있는 양주시의 공동체성을 회복하는 데에도 크게 기여하고 있다”고 격려했다.
