[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 민선8기 춘천시장 육동한 당선인의 취임식이 당선인 의향에 따라 소박하게 치러진다고 전했다.

춘천시에 따르면 춘천시장 취임식은 각계각층의 시민과 기관․단체 등 다양한 참석자 350여 명의 규모로 간소하고 내실있게 치를 예정이나, 참석을 희망하는 시민들의 문의가 이어지고 있다고 한다.

‘소박하지만 다양한 시민들과 함께’라는 당선인 뜻에 따라 진행되는 취임식인 만큼 많은 분들을 초청하지 못하는 점에 대해 대단히 송구하고 양해를 구한다고 당선인측은 밝혔다.

한편 취임식은 오는 7월 1일 오전 10시 대회의실에서 개최되며 ‘민선8기에 바란다’ 시민영상, 취임사, 비전선포식, 어린이합창단의 축하공연 등 순으로 약 60분간 진행될 예정이라고 했다. 

취임식장에 입장하지 못하는 시민들을 위해서는 1층 로비 LED 패널로 취임식을 생중계할 예정이라고 전했다.
