[김현우 기자 = 가평] 가평군이 올해 세외수입 이월체납액 정리목표액을 전년대비 15% 상향한 45%인 32억9000만원 정하고 징수에 행정력을 집중키로 했다고 14일 밝혔다.

이에 군은 체납자의 납부의지, 거주형태, 생활실태, 보유재산 등에 대한 현장실사 후, 가택수색을 실시하는 등 체납처분을 회피하는 비양심 체납자 은닉재산을 끝까지 추적 조사해 징수한다는 방침이다.

특히 압류부동산에 대해서는 적극적인 공매처분을 추진하고 재산없이 호화생활을 영위하는 체납자에 대해서는 신 징수기법 개발 및 적용으로 지방세수의 안정적 달성을 이뤄 나가기로 했다.

또 성실납세 분위기 조성과 조세형평성 제고를 위해 납부능력이 있으면서도 고의적이고 만성화된 고액 상습 체납자에 대한 강력한 체납처분을 실시한다는 계획이다.

이와 함께 가군은 체납액의 체계적인 분석, 관리로 맞춤형 정리를 위해납부의지가 있는 생계형 체납자에게는 분납을 유도하고 행정제재를 유보하는 등 경제적 재기기회를 지원하기로 했다.

가평군 관계자는 “전 세계적 고물가에 따른 고금리 정책으로 경기침체가 지속되어 체납액 징수에 어려움이 예상되고 있는 만큼 실질적인 징수 기법으로 보통교부세 산정기준인 세외수입 체납액 축소에 기여하고 재정건전성 제고에 힘쓰겠다”며 “예금압류 등 불이익을 받지 않도록 성실히 자진납부를 당부한다”고 말했다.
