안전점검 대상은 전통시장 및 대형마트 9개소, 산사태 취약지역 8개소, 상·하수도 8개소, 박물관 및 미술관 11개소 등 64개소이다.

이번 점검 활동에는 건축, 토목, 전기, 소방 등 분야별 전문가로 구성한 민간전문가와 관계 공무원이 민·관 합동 방식으로 참여한다.

점검 결과 경미한 사항은 현장에서 즉시 시정조치하고 보수·보강이 필요한 경우 예산 확보 후 개선해 나갈 예정이다.

아울러, 다양한 홍보매체를 활용한 안전 캠페인을 벌이는 등 시민이 안전문화를 자율적으로 만들어가는 분위기를 조성해 나간다.
